The problem

Real drone light shows cost thousands, but people still want that glowing “message in the sky” moment for proposals, birthdays and celebrations.

The approach

SkyCanvas AI simulates a drone light show on the phone. An AI cutout separates the subject from the photo, then the app rebuilds it as glowing light points over a chosen night scene, with adjustable glow, particles, fog and reflections.

What I built

• A three-step create flow: upload or type, customise, then share
• A subject-segmentation pipeline that feeds a particle light renderer
• Sky-text layout with custom fonts, spacing and curvature
• Multiple export formats for social media and wallpapers
• Privacy-first: no data collected or shared with third parties
